QEW’s Presence at the Annual FGC Gathering

LOTS OF INTERESTING educational and consciousness-raising events took place at the Earthcare Center at the 2009 Gathering at Blacksburg, Va. As we have done for each of the past 21 Gatherings, we set up a center for formal and informal gatherings, displays on different QEW projects and concerns, environmental speakers from the Appalachian Mountain bioregion, as well as scheduled and on-request video showings on a variety of Earthcare themes. There was also a section for children's books and activities. All of the events were announced in the Gathering's Daily Bulletin.
