WE ARE ENCOURAGED by a large number of other groups outside of the Religious Society of Friends who seem to be on the same "wave length" in their conviction that the global crisis in ecological sustainability is at root a spiritual crisis, that societal changes in education, technology, legislation, etc. cannot be separated from the need for inward transformation and a change in humankind's relationship with the earth.
