The Northwest Earth Institute

NWEI's hallmark program is a series of discussion courses, developed in  Portland, Oregon, but available to groups anywhere in the United States:

• Choices for Sustainable Living
• Voluntary Simplicity
• Discovering a Sense of Place
• Exploring Deep Ecology
• Globalization and Its Critics
• Healthy Children

These self-facilitated discussion courses are taken informally by small  groups in a home, workplace at noon, center of faith, or other place  where people naturally gather. They are offered in all 50 states.
